Image Selection. How do I pick my Images?

Images are personal preference, but I find that if I find a good picture to work with my final drawing is so much better. I use my own photos or do a google search for images but will only use Large images and generally black and white selections. If I am after a particular person then I use their name and hit the search button. What's interesting though is that you end up with images that aren’t who you expected and this can lead to new possibilities.

A good Image needs to be very tonal have lots of Darks and Lights for me to use it. Generally I don't find this by default I have to work on it to get it to where I want it to be. I took this photo late at night in Queensland when I was on holiday, it will be one of 2019 drawings.
